Instructions to Presenters

*Instruction for Poster Presentation follows the instruction for Oral.

Oral Presentation

1. On-site Instructions

Please bring your presentation data to PC data reception desk by 30 minutes prior to your presentation time at the latest. After the data preview and check, please be seated at the next speakers' seat at 10 minutes prior to your presentation.

Data Acceptance:
Please come to PC data reception desk during the open hours.

PC data reception desk: in front of room Nishiki, Keio Plaza Hotel, South Tower 4F
*On Feb.18 (Fri), desk is located at near room Ohgi
Open hours:
Day 1st (February 18, Fri): Open: 1:30 p.m. / Close: 5:00 p.m. (Ohgi, only on 18th)
Day 2nd (February 19, Sat): Open: 7:00 a.m. / Close: 5:00 p.m.
Day 3rd (February 20, Sun): Open: 7:00 a.m. / Close: 4:30 p.m.

*Please review and check your presentation at PC data reception desk.
*During the presentation, slide show control should be operated by presenters with using keyboard or mouse.

2. Duration of Presentation

1) Plenary Session will be presented in oral.
Presentation time and the detailed schedule will be announced to each presenter separately.
2) The remaining time of your talk is shown on the time indicator. Please keep to the time limit.

3. Presentation Format

1) Presentation can be made only with personal computers. Preview of computer data and safe keeping of data is accepted only at the PC data reception desk. Data keeping is received at any time during the PC data reception desk operating hours and please come to the desk well in advance.

2) Presentation data format
For Windows users:
-Data in USB memory or CD-R is acceptable (CD-RW is not acceptable)
-If your data is over 500MB, please bring your own laptop with data

For Macintosh users:
-Bringing your own laptop with data is recommended
-Connector: D-sub 15 pin 3-row connector (standard monitor terminal)
-Please ensure to bring your own AC mains adaptor and external output connector
-Please confirm in advanced that the data is correctly read by other personal computers with no garble
-Recommend to bring back-up data in USB flash memory

Application and font regulation:
-Only PowerPoint 2000 or later is acceptable
-Normal font is only available
Times New Roman, Century, Century Gothic, Arial and Symbol

Specifications of equipments at the venue:
OS: Windows XP, Windows 7
Applications: PowerPoint 2000, PowerPoint 2003, PowerPoint 2007 and PowerPoint 2010 in Windows Ver.
*If the presentation data contains motion pictures or animation, please bring your own laptop

Poster Presentation

1. On-site Instructions

Please register at the poster reception desk. Then proceed to poster set-up.
Push-pins and a ribbon which shows you are a presenter will be provided at the desk.

Poster session is open-ended discussion style in the session time.
Please be ready for the discussion as a presenter in the allocated session time at your presentation panel with wearing the provided ribbon. Active interaction between presenters and participants is appreciated.

Set-up: February 19 (Sat), 8:00 - 10:00
Display: February 19 (Sat), 10:00 - 17:00
February 20 (Sun), 8:00 - 17:00
Poster Session 1: February 19 (Sat), 14:40 - 15:40
Poster Session 2: February 20 (Sun), 15:35 - 16:35
Remove: February 20 (Sun), 17:00 - 18:00

*Any posters that have not been removed after the final time allocated for their removal has passed will be removed by the secretariat and will be scrapped after the program ends.

*Considering short session time, it is expected that all presentation would be displayed during the whole period of the meeting.

2. Poster Panel Regulations

1) A poster panel for exhibition is 210 cm in length and 90 cm in width.
2) The secretariat will prepare a presentation number card (20 cm x 20 cm) and push-pins.
3) The presentation poster should be prepared and bring in by the presenters
4) Please ensure to prepare a sheet which will fit on a separate space 20 cm high by 70 cm wide and it has the title of your presentation, presenter's name, all co-authors' name and affiliation.
